Old Amersham and Amersham-on-the-Hill are not the same job
The two halves of Amersham are separated by about a mile and about four hundred years. The old town sits down in the Misbourne valley — medieval and Georgian, heavily listed, inside a conservation area and the Chilterns National Landscape. On the Hill is Metroland: brick semis and detached houses built out after the Metropolitan Railway arrived. Same name, entirely different installation.
One of the most listed streets in the county
The High Street, the Market Hall and the lanes around them. Genuinely historic fabric, where consent is closer to the norm than the exception.

Sycamore Road, the streets around the station and out towards Chesham Bois. Usually the more straightforward half of Amersham to install in.
